UFV opens new building at Canada Education Park in Chilliwack

The University of the Fraser Valley celebrated the latest phase in its development at the Canada Education Park in Chilliwack on Friday, May 11, by opening a new building. The building, a combination of new construction and extreme renovation, will house most of the programs and services previously located at the Chilliwack Yale Road campus. UFV’s Absolute Style offers backstage view of fashion industry

Researching trends, preparing a collection, and styling models are all a part of UFV’s annual runway show, Absolute Style. The one-day event highlights the work of the Fashion Design program and its grad students, while providing them with real-world fashion industry experience. Bursary for UFV Aerospace student means continued education

UFV Today By Ashley Wray on January 11, 2012 Another B.C. Aviation Council award has been granted to a UFV student. Jeffrey McMurrer, who completed the UFV Aerospace training program in Nov. 2010, won the Barry and Jim Aviation Maintenance Graduate Bursary late last year. UFV students receive $100,000 to study abroad

UFV Today By Ashley Wray on January 5, 2012 UFV students will have the opportunity to study in France, Ireland, Australia and Korea this year thanks to a combination of recently awarded scholarships. This fall, 28 students will be studying in seven different countries. Their international experiences are being made possible by a group of organizations that have provided more than $100,000 in scholarships. [ more… ]
